I am a subscribed user. How will Patentcloud’s New Pricing Plans affect me?

We will continue to provide services until the end of your subscription period


 

 

Q1: I am a Patent Search Basic (PSB) / Patent Search Advanced (PSA) subscriber. Will my service be canceled?

A: PSB and PSA plans will be discontinued starting on May 1, 2022 (2022/05/01). 


If you are a monthly subscriber, your subscription will still be automatically renewed in April 2022, and the subscription will end in May 2022. However, your subscription will no longer be automatically renewed in May 2022 without your consent. 


If you are an annual subscriber, we will not automatically renew your subscription after 2022/5/1 without your consent.

 


Q2: I am a PSB/PSA monthly subscriber. If I change to the annual subscription before 2022/05/01, can I still subscribe to PSB/PSA for one year? 

A: Yes. You can switch to the one-year PSB/PSA plan before 2022/05/01. Please note that the PSB/PSA annual payment option will no longer be available starting 2022/05/01.

Before 2022/05/01, you can go to the account center to change your plan to an annual subscription.

 


Q3: I am a PSB/PSA annual subscriber. Can I keep my current plan for one additional year or more before 2022/05/01?

A: If you need a PSB/PSA plan instead of upgrading to our Patent Search Professional (PSP) package, please contact us, and we will assist you in purchasing PSB/PSA offline.

 


Q4: I am a Patent Search Professional (PSP) subscriber. Will my service be canceled?

A: No, your service will not be canceled. However, we will not automatically renew your subscription after 2022/05/01 without your consent due to the price change. 


If you are a monthly subscriber, your subscription will still be automatically renewed in April 2022, and the subscription will end in May 2022. However, your subscription will no longer be automatically renewed in May 2022 without your consent. 

If you would like to subscribe to PSP in the future, you can repurchase the plan at the adjusted price at any time.


If you are an annual subscriber, we will not automatically renew your subscription after 2022/5/1 without your consent.

 


Q5: I am a PSP monthly subscriber. Can I continue my subscription with the current plan and price before 2022/05/01?

A: Yes, but only if you change to the PSP annual plan before 2022/05/01. You can continue to subscribe with the current annual payment price (USD 1,791) until the end of your plan. Please note that the new price (USD 2,500) will be fully applied on 2022/05/01.

 


Q6: I am a PSP annual subscriber. Can I keep the current price for my plan for one additional year or more before 2022/05/01?

A: To protect the rights and interests of our existing clients, we can assist you in purchasing offline if you need to continue with the existing plan and price. Please contact us before 2022/05/01.

 


Q7: I have subscribed to other Patentcloud products besides Patent Search (such as Design Search, Quality Insights, Due Diligence, SEP OmniLytics). Will I be affected?

A: This major adjustment only affects Patent Search plans and related bundle plans. The automatic subscription for PS-related plans will be canceled unless otherwise indicated. Our other products’ plans and pricing will not be affected.
