Advanced Analysis (By Using Patent Summary)

Classify the patent technologies into folders and use 'Advanced Analysis' to create matrix charts.

Create Folder

Step 1: Click 'Folder Management', select particular folder, and then click 'Patent Summary'.

Step 2: Select the item you want to use and click the 'Folder' icon on the upper right to convert it to a folder.

Create Matrix Chart

Step 1:  Click 'Patent Analysis' -> 'Advanced Analysis',  press the three dots on the right, and choose the folder range for analysis.

Step 2:  In the 'Data Fields', set the x and y axes according to your needs, and then press 'Start'.

For example: x-axis: Bibliographic Data (e.g., Application Date, Assignee), y-axis: Project Folder, 

Step 3: After creating the matrix chart, click on 'Normal' → 'Heatmap' to more intuitively view the distribution of cells. You can also click on 'Export' in the upper left for further use.
